We got frustrated with everyones favourite eye light, the Rosco DOT! When not handled with great care the silicone dome falls off the backplate in no time. After extensive testing and some redesigns we are happy to share our DOT LOCK
A simple 2 ring system. One ring locks in the silicone and the other ring adheres to the original backplate of the Rosco DOT with 3M adhesive.
4 strong neodymium with a pull strength of 2.1kg each make sure the 2 rings stay together and the DOT does not fall off the backplate anymore.
A great pease of mind when mounting it on top of a camera as an eye light.
